I've written and recorded a new song called "Alone". It's a fairly upbeat song I recorded using synth sounds and vocals on my laptop.

I've been doing some recording of new material in my little home studio. This is the first of at least a handful of new songs to be released online, called Invisible Net. It's now online on Facebook, Myspace and of course right here on briandilts.com!

Yes, I love music very much. It is my life.
Sometimes I like to play it myself, other times I like to listen to it on my Digital Music Playing Device.
Sometimes I play it on my stereo when I'm doing things that would normally bore me. When I have music on, however, it makes relatively boring tasks seem much more fun. Like getting the garbage together, doing the dishes, cleaning.
Sometimes I listen to it on my computer, while I'm writing words to my songs at my computer. Or while I check the news or sports scores. Or also when doing menial tasks at my computer, like paying taxes or writing obligatory email responses.
Every once in while I listen to it while I go to sleep. But that only works with Side 4 of the Beatles White Album or Miles Davis' In A Silent Way, or any Pink Floyd album, especially Wish You Were Here. It puts me in a trance for some reason at night, and I fall asleep. For other music I just listen to closely, and can't sleep.
